Educational Math Lesson 1 part 1 Adding

When you first start learning how to add its best to start with small numbers. Here's a good way to add using your hands. 

Example: 3+6=9

Everytime you say a number you raise a finger like 1 raise the first finger 2 raise the second finer 3 raise the third finger then hold those 3 fingers up then count from 1 raise the 4th finger count and say 2 raise the 5th finger then 3 raise the sixth finger then 4 raise the 7th finger then 5 raise the 8th finger then 6 raise the 9th finger and that's the answe4 once you count all your fingers you'll see that the answer is 9 

Now anything over 10 requires keeping track of pairs

Example: 10+20=30

When you count to 10 that's a pair count to 20 that's 2 pairs count to 30 that's 3 pairs that will be easier to understand on our next lesson
