Bicyclist Hit By a Truck On Saratoga In Corpus Christi Texas

CCPD officials said in Tuesday that bicyclist who was hit by a truck died last Monday no charges are expected for the truck driver. The bicyclist died following the collision with a truck earlier this month near Saratoga in corpus Christi. 

CCPD PIO Antonio Contreras said that officers with Corpus Christi Police department were dispatched around 8:31pm Last Monday to the intersection of Saratoga Boulevard And Jefferson Street for this major traffic accident.

When they arrived the bicyclist who was transported to a local hospital suffered serious injuries. Contreras confirmed Tuesday that the Bicyclist later died from the injuries the Nueces County medical examiner office identified the victim as a 20 year old name Cyrus camp.

The traffic investigations determined the bicyclist failed to stop at the stop sign while attempting to cross Saratoga boulevard Police said the truck was traveling east on Saratoga boulevard when it struck the bicyclist. The driver of the truck remained at the scene no charges are expected this is a developing story By Kill Tv.
