Mr Gattis Pizza
Mr. Gattis Pizza has been satisfying pizza cravings for almost 60 years. Our founder, James Eure, opened “The Pizza Place” in September 1964 in Stephenville, Texas. In 1969, he moved to Austin, and open the first “Mr Gatti’s Pizza” as a tribute to his wife’s maiden name. Over the years, Mr. Gatti’s Pizza has continued to grow and expand to over 90 locations and is now delighting guests with great pizza across the greater part of the southeastern United States.
James Eure worked long hours to master the still unchanged elements that make people crave great pizza: Real 100% Provolone Cheese (no imitations allowed), yeast-risen dough that is made fresh every day in store, our signature tangy pizza sauce and fresh topping that just can’t be beat After all these years Almost nothing has changed!GattiTown/GattiLand connection to Mr. Gatti's Pizza
a large-format family entertainment center (FEC) concept developed by Mr. Gatti's Pizza in 1997 to combine their buffet, pizza delivery, and extensive game rooms into one 18,000–60,000 sq ft location. While Mr. Gatti's focused on smaller, traditional pizza restaurants, GattiTown serves as their mega-arcade/dining concept, both owned by the same corporate entity. Founded in 1969 by James Eure in Austin, Texas, the brand launched GattiTown in 1997, with the first location in Oak Hill, Texas. Concept Shift: During the 1990s and 2000s, many traditional Mr. Gatti's locations were updated or replaced by these larger GattiTown or Gaddy Land entertainment centers.
Mr. Gatti's was founded in 1964 as "The Pizza Place" and later named "Mr. Gatti's" in 1969 to honor the maiden name (Gaddy/Gatti) of the founder James Eure's wife, Pat. In the 1990s, Mr. Gatti's rebranded many of its new, larger locations as "GattiLand" or "GattiTown," creating a "Game On" environment for games and dining.
In 2011, under Blue Sage Capital, the company expanded by building large GattiTown-style locations featuring bumper cars, go-karts, and mini-golf. In 2015, Sovrano LLC acquired the brand and, while still operating GattiTown locations, pivoted toward returning to the traditional Mr. Gatti's Pizza branding for smaller locations. As of 2021, the company, operating as Mr. Gatti's Pizza, uses both the Mr. Gatti's and GattiTown service marks, often operating under a Family Entertainment Center or Delivery/Carryout (DELCO) model.

The Chain Change
The chain has changed hands multiple times, including a stint under Blue Sage Capital and later being acquired by Savano LLC and eventually OneRyan Global in 2026
Notes:
1. In some discussions, users have referred to the concept as "Gaddy Land" or "Gaddy Town," but the company's official branding is "GattiLand/GattiTown".
2. Mr. Gatti's and Gatti's Town both have game rooms buffets and entertainment areas except Mr. Gatti's focuses more on the buffets and have smaller game rooms than Gatti's Town.
