it starts with his friends Amy, Knuckles, Rouge, And, Tails, having a battle with doctor Egg man on the mountain sonic arrives late with shadow following him. Dr, Egg man and his goons finish digging up the prism sonic tries to get it from him by himself Sonic Speeds towards the prism accidentally shatters it into 4 pieces creating 3 alternate universes and his gets destroyed with the only way to fix it is to rebuild the prism.
2. The council of new yoke
New yoke was the first place sonic landed the place taken controlled by the council sonic and the tails from that universe head to tails hiding place. knuckles and rouge show up to help sonic and tails battle eventually sonic and tails get captured by the council and Rusty Rose the alternate version of Amy. sonic and tails manage to escape and get the first shard also known has piece 1 one the prism when sonic travels to the next universe he sees shadow trying to tell him something.
3. Sonic in the wild life
Sonic lands in the jungle where his friends notice that version of Amy tries to protect the forest by keeping it to herself so sonic and Amy have a little battle then they reach an agreement not knowing the council was following sonic the whole time. Amy gives the shard to sonic so he can go get the next one and fix everything then the council followed him there too. sonic runs into shadow they have a battle then shadow shows sonic what happened to their home thats when sonic saw he had to finish collecting the shard pieces of the prism.
4. the 3rd piece in a world of pirates
sonic ends up on a tiny piece of dry land where he sees another version of tails and rouge they take him to their ship where they meet rax the alternate version of knuckles and the captain of the crew. they head to the light house where the 3rd shard is rax battled sonic to give it back until the council attacks they have to fight back eventually they win with seadogs and rax lets sonic take the shard.
5. rebuilding the prism
tails had the last piece that was from his universe sonic has him try to rebuild the prism instead of fixing sonics world he wants to fix his so he takes all the shards with him absorbs some of their power to battle against sonic to capture him to get the last energy for the prism in sonics shoes. the council join with sonic temporarily to fight against tails eventually the forcefield and his robots start loosing power him and sonic talk it out at the end. the council betrays sonic by attacking tails so tails rebuilds the prism and sonic puts the energy from his shoes into the prism. tails opens a portal while the council are fighting eachother on who will be the leader eventually sonic and his friends knock each of them into the portal. after the prism is fully rebuilt everything returns to normal.
