Produced in collaboration with Barack and Michelle Obama's Higher Ground Productions, the seven-episode limited series offers a satirical, irreverent take on major events in U.S. history in honor of America's 250th anniversary. The show centers on an idiosyncratic retelling of U.S. history from the mind behind Curb Your Enthusiasm. Instead of standard documentary-style celebrations, the series treats American history and patriotic pageantry through Larry David’s signature lens: annoyance, vanity, and deep social awkwardness. The show consists of about four sketches per episode, rewriting major historical moments into setups for very modern humiliation and dysfunction.
