What's In the Game But Not In The Show:
In the Game's Prologue It shows Gohan walking up to Goku, Goku At the time is meditating to do what he call's image training. Goku picture's Piccolo, Goku beat Piccolo in the world Martial Art's Tournament. Goku was barely able to beat Piccolo and once his did it caused piccolo to Split in two. That's why Goku uses Piccolo his image training so Goku himself can get tougher.
After Goku's image training he take's his son Gohan and teaches him how to fish using a tail. After they catch a big fish they make a meal out of the fish. After Goku And Gohan finish eating both of them head out to search for Apple's for Goku's wife Chi-Chi also known has the mother of Gohan. After they drop off the Apple's Chi-Chi reminds Goku that he's supposed to take Gohan to meet master Roshi and The Other's.
Where the Game's story Started Matching Up With The Show
They were unaware that Goku's brother Raditz was on his was to Earth. Raditz on his way to Earth had a Flashback of him telling Nappa and Vegeta That his brother Kakarot also known has Goku was sent to Earth. Piccolo spot's Raditz space ship while feeling a surge of energy Piccolo head's to check it out. Raditz exit's his ship that's when Piccolo noticed Raditz is a Saiyan just like Goku. Piccolo challenges Raditz and Piccolo is overwhelmed by Raditz power. After Raditz beats Piccolo he head's towards Goku.
After Goku and Gohan Arrive At Kame's house to have Gohan meet Master Roshi, Krillin, Bulma, Yamcha, And, Tien, during their gathering they also spotted Raditz space ship and feel a crazy surge of energy heading their way. Raditz head's toward Goku and the other's where Raditz Introduces himself. Raditz kidnap's Gohan in attempt to try and convince Goku to destroy every life form. instead Piccolo show's up wanting to team up with Goku to get rid of Raditz so Goku can rescue Gohan and Piccolo can continue His quest for World domination.
They arrive to battle Raditz at one point of the battle Goku grab's Raditz tail to slow him down while piccolo tries' to get his finisher ready the special beam cannon. Raditz begs Goku for mercy then Goku let's the tail go Raditz double crossed Goku. after Raditz put's Goku down Raditz get's distracted when Gohan's Power starts to increase.
Gohan pop's out of the space ship lands a hit a Raditz using his head Raditz attempts to hit Gohan with A Ki blast. Right before Raditz can launch his ki blast Goku grabs Raditz to hold him still. Goku sacrifices himself telling Piccolo to launch the special beam cannon. After Raditz is down before he die's all the way he warns them the other 2 Saiyan's Nappa and Vegeta were on their way to earth 1yr from that day they will arrive.
