Ninjago Dragon's Rising Season 4 Part 2 Possible Plot's And Collision's

Back in Season 1, we saw the introduction of Sora’s tech, 'Photacs,' which Beatrix used to hunt dragons. Later, Sora accessed her powers using a boost from Ryu to shut them down. In the finale, Sora’s parents urged her to trust Beatrix, who then used the dragon cores to trigger merge quakes, nearly pushing the Merged Realms to the breaking point. After Ryu was blasted into a quake, Sora reached her true potential and used her powers to disable Beatrix’s weapon just as she saw Arin about to be hit. At the end of Season 2, we saw Ras holding Master Wu in containment, as Wu is the key to the gates.

The Background: Recap of Current Threats

• Beatrix's Plan (The Primary Focus): Dr. LaRow's loyalist faction is coordinating an invasion to restore Beatrix to the throne using the Weapon of Desolation. This allows her to use Elemento Monstrokinesis to summon and mutate Elemental Monsters to overwhelm the Ninja.

• Lord Ras's Plan (The Shadow Threat): While he continues to search for Source Dragon Icons and build his faction, the writers have confirmed Part 2 is not the endgame for his master plan.

Where the Plans Collide

Even though Beatrix and Ras have different ultimate goals Beatrix wants to conquer the Merged Realms as Empress, and Ras wants to rewrite reality their schemes inevitably "bump and mix" through several key flashpoints:

1. Fight Over Infrastructure: Beatrix needs the labs and power grids of Imperium to mass-produce her army. These are the exact same systems Ras relies on to siphon and contain the power of the Source Dragons.

2. Siphoning Energy: The Weapon of Desolation forcefully rips away and mutates elemental energy. Every ounce Beatrix drains is energy that Ras cannot use to charge his own icons or stabilize his portal gates. They are draining the same battery from two different ends.

3. The Betrayal History: Ras has a bitter history with Beatrix; he helped her take the throne, but she incarcerated him when he failed. He has zero desire to see her rule again and will likely use the chaos of her invasion as a distraction to move in the shadows.

Final Prediction

Since the Ninja will be focused on defending the Monastery from Beatrix's army, it creates the perfect opportunity for Ras. He will likely wait for the height of the conflict to easily slip through and steal the Motion Icon from the Ninja while they are distracted. Season 4 Part 2 is expected to release September 3, 2026 on Netflix.
