James is taking his time with the decision, utilizing a unique process where interested front offices are sending voice notes through his agency to make their pitch. Reports indicate he is deciding between a few core priorities, including competitive basketball and a comfortable fit for the final phase of his career.
While he is highly considering the Cleveland Cavaliers And Golden State Warriors i do have a strong opinion on which team should go for and why. i would highly suggest the Golden State Warriors because they have a really good three point shooter that's Stephen Curry While Lebron James is good with close up shots and dunks so if Stephen Curry doesn't have enough energy to shoot from way out he can easily pass it to James cuz they both have good change of direction.
With that being said if there's too many players guarding in the center James can use a over head pass to pass to Stephen curry while he is far out to get a good distance for his 3 point range. Now in order for that to happen and have a reasonable size contract the Warriors would have to trade someone like Moses Moody and his $12.5 million dollar contract to another team in order to create a $38 million cushion. it gives them room to offer lebron james a better offer higher then $6 million starting salary. it also gives them enough to resign Draymond greenin the $20M-$22M range.
Pulling off an acquisition for Davis from the Washington Wizards would require Golden State to trade away Jimmy Butler and his expiring $57 million contract, alongside multiple future first-round draft picks and pick swaps.
If the Warriors want to execute their rumored "ultimate pitch" to pair LeBron with both Stephen Curry and his former teammate Anthony Davis, a massive trade block is mandatory. The only way the Warriors avoid trading anyone is if LeBron willingly takes a $3.9 million veteran minimum contract to play with Curry outright. Because reports indicate LeBron is prioritizing happiness over a final maximum payout, this remains a distinct possibility, but it would lock the Warriors into a hard-capped roster with very little depth.
So that all fall's down to 3 future questions
Will Lebron Choose The Warriors And Take The $3.9 million? Will The Warriors Make 2 Trade's? Or Will Lebron Go With Another Team?
