When Game 5 Got Chaotic Between 2 1 In The Seek Of NYPD

As Spurs fans prepare for Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Saturday night, New York police are searching for a suspect accused of taking part in a violent assault that left a 17-year-old hospitalized and in a coma following Wednesday's game at Madison Square Garden.



The New York Police Department released a wanted bulletin Friday seeking help identifying a man allegedly involved in what police described as a gang assault near 237 W. 35th St., just blocks from the arena where the Knicks defeated the Spurs in Game 5.


According to the NYPD, a group approached the teenager after the game and became involved in an argument. During the confrontation, one individual allegedly punched and kicked the victim. Police said the 17-year-old suffered a seizure and fell into a coma following the attack.
